How often do I cleanse my hair extensions?
Washing your extensions once a month is enough. Remember that clip in extensions do not have the natural oils that your hair does, so washing them frequently will dry them out and become brittle. Remember to also let them air dry. Less heat equals less damage.

What shampoo and conditioner do I use?
You want to make sure to use a gentle shampoo and conditioner that is free from sulfates and parabens. Consider using a color treated shampoo and condition as these extensions have been colored to your perfect shade.

Can I sleep with my clip in extensions ?
It's important to remove your clip ins before bed. By doing this, you refrain from damaging the clips and getting hair tangled while sleeping. After removing them, place them in a satin bag as if it was an expensive necklace, afterall, you did pay quite a bit for them!

Can I brush them with any brush?
When brushing your extensions, use a loop brush or a wide tooth comb. Remember to be gentle and start from the bottom and work your way up! This will help keep your extensions from breakage and split ends that result in tangles.

Can I use a hot tool?
Hot tools like curling irons and flat irons may be used with a heat protectant but keep in mind that they will lessen the life of the hair because there are no natural oils going through them. Keep heat at a low setting. Consider braiding them before storing them away or using heat free styling.

Can I cut my extensions?
Of course you can! We actually recommend that you cut them to blend with your natural hair .

Will my extensions be okay to wear straight?
If you have been rocking a short haircut and/or many layers , you may have to cut them to match your style before wearing them straight.

Can I color my extensions?
We do not recommend you color your clip in extensions. If you are trying to match your extensions to a color change you made to your natural hair, purchasing a new piece is recommended. You may also take it to your personal stylist and have them professionally colored. (Bleach is NEVER recommended.)
